The Summit County Beef program's goal is to have grass-fed beef raised in Summit County available for purchase in Summit County and the surrounding region. The program is being facilitated by the Summit County Food Coalition, which is made up of representatives from non-profits, ranchers, private businesses, government agencies, and concerned citizens. The coalition operates fiscally under the umbrella of the Uinta Headwaters RC&D Council, a 501(c) 3 organization which works on natural resource and community development projects. |
